Please show me a pic of an elephant over 50 pounds from that unit. The largest one shot there in 5 seasons 1999-2004 was about 60 pounds, it came in from the park, down at the south east corner where the Deka river is. The Quota then was 6 Bulls a year and 2 tuskless cows. I find it very hard to believe that the big elephants showed up, Unit 5 is a fantastic piece of land, it is great hunting no matter the size of the elephants-that alone is reason enough to go.

Dear BigBoreFive,

I am presently in Joberg on the way to US. Just left Zim and all well there. Still have elephant available in Matetsi. Can do hunt in December if you like. Was with Glenn Stockhill last week and all well with them. My client in Save hunted with HH 577 made in 1893. Kill buff, and 196 pound leopard and others with his 577. Will have photos on website next week. Will give you his name when I get back to US so you two can chat. Would suggest mid November if possible because chance of rain in December. Will be glad to disucss with you next week when I return to office.

Regards from Africa, Ron
