It is a fantastic read, about a man who has truly lived his dream; and served his country well at the same time.

Craig is one man I truly admire...

I've read all three and they are all good. I appreciate his take on hunting and his priorities and how they change over the years.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

from the last rifleshooter magazine "Is there any hunt that isn't important? If it isn't important to you, it's very important to the game animal." If for no other reason that that statement, i believe this man deserves a high degree of respect

I have never met him, but really enjoy his books.

My only problem with him is that he hasn't written a sheep-hunting book yet. Smiler

Ditto.

Count me as a "fan", but as much as I enjoy all of Craig's work so far, I am still hoping he'll spend some time focusing on sheep (writing and vids) in the future. tu2

If you are like me and enjoy shooting and hunting and guns, specificaly Rifles, read the last article in this months Rifleshooter Magazine. The title is "Divine Provenance", and Craig Boddington says it the best I have ever read. The main theme is the value of rifles and how those values come about. Read for yourself, I think you will agree, it is a very good read. Good shooting.

I’m reading it now, bought an autographed copy from Mr. Boddington. I like his writing style and have seen it change slightly over the years. Still gives lots of information but with a much more “first person” point of view at least in Tracks Across Africa. It is interesting that to see that many of the hunts he has talked about in the last ten years I have had the pleasure to “experience” on the TV shows or hear him in person to describe them…feels almost like you are riding along with an old friend.
I like his writing and think he is on his way to becoming a “classic”….keep it up Craig!
Thanks
Paul
