I would have the animals mounted, but the reason I go hunting is to get heads for the wall. What is going to make you happiest? If the trophies aren't that important to you, save your money and go hunting. If the trophies are important, what about getting skull mounts or only the favorite animals mounted. That could leave you with a little left over to go on an inexpensive hunt for something like hogs.
