What is the latest on Importing Elephant trophy from Zim for 2015?

What the hell is left for 2015 and beyond? Prices for whatever is just tripled, at least. But USF&W is doing a wonderful job controlling poaching. Right??

Leaving in one month for an Ele Bull in Zim. Decided we would hunt regardless of import ability. To do otherwise would, in our thoughts, make it less valid to say that our hunting dollars are supporting conservation and that's one of the main reasons we can justify hunting.

In other words, to cancel or not hunt because I can't bring in Ivory means I only care about the Ivory. That's just not the case.

Agreed!! It's become a political, not a management decision so I had to decide if I wanted to allow their politics to alter my reason for hunting.

I decided no. Would I like to have the Ivory at home should I be successful? Of course! But as I stated, I just decided if I ever again wanted to say that hunting equaling conservation plays a part in why I hunt then deciding not to hunt because I didn't get a trophy in the end just would be hypocritical.

My trophy may end up my memories of an experience that has no equal. Time will tell.
