Back in the good old days of the late 80s. The pic was sent to me by a good friend but I've no idea who the guy is................ I wonder if Fulvio or anyone else can identify him?

Beautiful tusker. Can't help with identifying the individual. Is it definitely a guy? Thanks for the post.

Most definitely a woman, an a looker at that. What force or guile could not subdue, Thro' many warlike ages, Is wrought now by a coward few, For hireling traitor's wages.

That is most certainly a young dude. Huge elephant.

Yep, Nice elephant. The knee is male. Nowadays that would mean nothing. Caitlyn Jenner has two male knees, but the picture is from a different time, Bruce's time. It must be a local or son of a local, wearing Adidas without socks and short shorts. No foreigner would be relaxed enough for "safari" dressed like that. Looks like a 17-year-old distance runner. I got my first pair of Adidas when I was 14 y.o. I weighed 140-145 pounds (depending on how far I had run) and could run two miles in 9:25 when I was a 17 y.o. 10 miles in 54 minutes was a training run. I am worried about anyone who thinks that is a good looking woman. In summary: That could be Freddie Mercury's brother from another mother in Zanzibar. And he probably looks like Santa Claus now if he is still alive. Rip ...

The shorts would suggest a Zimbo perhaps?

I could be wrong without it breaking any new ground, but I don't think anything between those tusks is "male". "If you’re innocent why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?”- Donald Trump

A young version of one of the Trappe brothers (Rolf or Ricky) maybe?

Short shorts were common most places in the 80’s. Not just Zimbabwe. Bicep looks like guy. Shelves of stores were lacking in the 80’s. Seems like it would have been very difficult getting real Addidas in Tanzania. Perhaps a Bata knock-off. If they are real Addidas, it might be a person who shopped out of the country. At least made it to Kenya occasionally. Plaid shirt would make me think it was a local. Weren’t the Trappe’s blond? I think your on the right track Fulvio, a local in their late teens to mid twenties.

Pasanisi had most of the quota. My guess would be someone associated with them.
