SaeedBill,
Our forums are very active, and any article we post is going to disappear very quickly down the page.
So, we decided to have a READ ONLY forum for you mere mortals,

and Nikudu can post whatever he wishes on it.
Any discussion regarding these articles can still be posted on this forum.

"one of the most common african animals is the common coolerbok(or coleman's coolerbok). Many have been domesticated and can be found in hunting camps, lodges and in the back of vehicles."

Same question I had. Do you know what species of grass or reed that you used for the rondavel/banda?
Thanks.

The grass was brought in from South Africa. The wooden frame was made in Australia and the thatcher came from England.

Actually there IS a company in Perth run or established by ex-pat South Africans that builds thatched 'cabanas' or rondavels.
Wouldn't rank the chances of getting any African grasses (ie through quarantine) into Aust very high however.
