I have some animals headed there way. I don't know much about their work.
Anyone had dealings with them?
Dip & Pack or finished.

They're just up the road from me (for a week more) and I was in there today funnily enough.

I'd rate them as one of the best taxidermists in Africa and possibly anywhere else for that matter... They're also ultra effecient.

You won't be disappointed!

Have used them and they are probably one of the better in Africa, but you can not compare them with top artists in US. You can look in taxidermy forum I put up some pics there.

Life-Form have done dozens of African game mounts for me over the years. Their work is of the highest quality and they are great to deal with in all respects.

Life-Form did some work for me on plains game. Had a kudu pedestal mount that is stunning. Also had some euro mounts done and some hide tanned. All first class work. Will use them again.

I have not seen them yet...but I have a buffalo and a Jackson's Hartebeeste on their way home from there now. They were pleasant to deal with during the mounting and payment process. They are with the shipper now.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Mate, that's extremely unusual for Lifeform because every client is allocated to an individual member of staff who deals with all communications...... if you're not hearing from them then I'd guess it's more likely to be because of messages going into spam boxes somewhere or server connection problems.

I'm only here for a few more days and we have the weekend on top of us, but if you have time, feel free to PM me details of who you're dealing with and/or other relevent details and I'll try to call them or pop over there to try to see what the story is for you.

Life Form is efficient, cost-effective, and their work is of high quality. There is not a taxidermist on the continent that I would prefer.

Check out Taxidermy Africa at www.taxidermyafrica.com. These guys are also tops, very professional. They used to give a guarentee on their work but I cannot swear to that now. Cool

I use no one else for African trophies --

They have prepared many, many trophies for me over the years and I've always been 100% satisfied with both their service and quality of work.

The first time I went to RSA, I used a local taxidermist and it took me almost 3 years to get my mounts.

The second time I went, I used Life-Form Taxidermy. From the time they got my trophies until they were in my driveway in a big box was about one year and there were more mounts than from my first trip. The work was better as was the price.

Used them last year for dip and pack. No problems. The only slight problem was their holiday break. They have about a month shut down so, it took us a little longer to get them back. Communications with them was outstanding and they followed up with my Roland Ward submittal.

They did our trophies from our 2003 RSA safari. Great communication and excellent quality of mounts. We also took a tour of their facility before our safari and met Zach and many of the crew. Great folks.
