It all depends on the Nerve, thats why judging Ivory can be tricky. Could have a big fat nerve, large cavity ~ less weight. or small nerve ~ smaller cavity, more weight.

The nerve will taper off approximately at the lip which is defined by the embedded part of the tusk.
