Sorry to hear that you did'nt get your lion. I had the same luck in May on a problem lion but the amount of trophy plains game that Vaughn has is amazing.

Just returned from my hunt with Vaughan and had a wonderful time but was skunked. I did not take a lion or leopard but that is why they call it hunting! I originally was going to hunt leopard with dogs but there had been some much lion activity a few weeks before I arrived I decided to focus on them. A group of 5 lions moved through once, killed and ate one of the local tribes cow and left. We drove,walked and set up baits constantly but were unsuccessful.

The good news is that I saw large numbers of game constantly, mountain zebra,gemsbok,kudu,steenbok,springbok etc.

The bad news is that traveling was a disaster. I will make a seperate post to detail the disaster.
