Last weekend was the Aussie Down Under SCI Safari Show, again at Coffs Harbour North of Sydney.

Met up with a lot of the guys again, some of whom post here currently or once upon a time - "Ozhunter", "Duggaboybuff", "SSGA", "Spartan", "BwanaBob" and girlfriend plus others who may be on the net.

Didn't buy any auctions myself this year, but did bid on one with a couple of water buff culls which started at a very attractive price. Would have been tempted by a dual cape buffalo bull and buff cow seven day hunt offered by Nengasha Safaris had my wallet had any money in it this year. Hunted cow elephant with them last year and had a very good time.

Some good deals were had by those who bid to the end this year with few of the auctions seeming restricted by reserves. One young guy purchased as many as TEN AUCTIONED HUNTS many in South Africa or elsewhere in the world. He will be busy!

Yes, we all had a great time. Much more relaxed than last year with far less drinking..
