Toufic Hanna has a good reputation with some of the AR hunters who have hunted with him, notably jpbderunz. I don't know if the contact information is up to date but Toufic has a web site:

http://yentangou.africa-web.org/pages/ecampement.html

His e-mail address was contact@yentangou.com and his telephone was (266) 70207101

Hope this helps. Toufic usually has one or two lion permits each year and it is the best price on lion that I know of. You might want to try to fit in some hunting while you are there.

The main web site is http://yentangou.africa-web.org

When you go to this link provided you have to click on the extra small blue dot for the actual main page. The English side has nothing. But if you go to the French side there is video and a couple of photo slide shows.

I spoke with Russ Gould about hunting there. Russ posts here. As I recall, most of the options were a do it yourself hunt, where you get permission to hunt in the parks, but you pick up some locals and set off on your own. There are also a couple of outfitters, but this has been written about a bit on this site, so try a search for more info.

This guy reportedly books there:

If you are there for an extended period of time, you might be in a good possition to take advantage of a do-it-yourself hunt. I sat next to a German gentleman on my leg from Namibia to Frankfurt earlier this year that did hunted Burkina Faso on his own with good success.

I would be interested to hear what you find out. Keep us posted if you will.

The chasse libre hunts are no longer offering buffalo, only antelope. This was a cheap buffalo hunt, but it's an expensive PG hunt, considering no PH, you supply your own food, and you hunt with trackers who don't care about trophy size.

This comment does not apply to the concessions leased by Safari cos, only to the "self-guided" hunts.
