Just getting back from a 15 day Safari in Mozambique. Sleep deprived, sore and cranky.

All went really well with a nice Leopard, good Sable and very large Hippo in tow. My buddies also collected Buff each, one hippo, one croc and another sable. I'll post a report and try to get some pics up in a few days.

All went well through Dulles and contrary to what I had heard before leaving, SAA had very good. friendly service staff and the planes were absolutely spotless. All flights on time and very comfortable if 18 hours on any flight could be considered such.

All in all another very good adventure in Africa!!

Larry,

Glad to hear you had a successful safari. Would love to hear the details as well.

Do yo have your CITIES import permit for your leopard? I had a few conversations with the USF&W. They tell me that as of two weeks ago, the US has issued NO leopard permits from MOZ this year.

According to them, Moz submitted the required documents about a month ago. But it has yet to be accepted and blessed by an unnamed branch of the US government. Hoo Boy.

Anyway, please keep us posted.

Congrats. Looking forward to your full hunt report!
