LJSWho Offers Lioness
Because of the extreme high costs I made peace with the probability of never hunting lion. Another post seeking input on rifle selection indicated lioness was one of the animals being hunted. Can anyone recommend an outfitter who will offer a plains game hunt with lioness also?

BiebsLJS, a Lioness is not an unusual offering....you'll find a number of Outfitters who will respond to this request. Good luck....a great hunt without the huge pricetag.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

Sally's DadLJS,
I hunted in Namibia with Karl Stumpfe in 2009 and took a nice lioness and several plains game. Good hunt, and quite exciting (check the hunt report). I believe that L. David Keith can help with contacting Karl about this hunt.

BigBBearMaking clear my preference never to hunt a canned lion there is a good option this year as some areas of Zim that had been closed to Lioness are now open with a few on quota due to the very high lion poplulation. These are not that expensive and it is a free ranging lioness. Dande and Rifa are a couple of those areas that i have heard of.

Idaho SharpshooterYou might also check with cmsafaris. I could have taken one with Myles in late 2008 for a good price, but opted to focus on Buffalo. Next time...
