Can anyone give me an idea of the temperature and humidity for Chirisa around the end of September? Any rain that time of year? Thanks

Only been in November, but it was not as hot as the Zambezi areas. We had a little, but I doubt there is much rain that early.

Thanks to both of you. BTW, Ivan, watched your video with my girlfriend who will be going to Chirisa with me.She said that she really enjoyed it and really respected your knowledge. She hasnt been hunting before and I am trying to show her quality videos, books, etc to prepare her. Your video was a great help on helping her understand what it is about elephants that makes me want to hunt them.
I enjoyed it also. Thanks

I have found that it can get quite hot in Sep but also quite cold on an occasion.
Early Sep the nights are cold but towards the end they are getting warm enough that you don't need the fire lit for your evening drink.

Shootaway, did you ever post a report on your hunt in Chirisa? I would love to hear how it was. Thanks

Yes I did. It's on page 3 of the reports forum. It was my first trip to the african continent.Things went good for me financially last year after a few years of hardship and I celebrated with the hunting trip.I liked the trip.Chirisa has its charm. It is a wild isolated place with a good safari camp. The word CLASSIC come to mind.Do not expect the place to be full with trophy game.If you are interested in high success rates and record book trophies, this is probably not the place. To be honest, there isn't that much happening on the game scene. The safari company I chose, suggested Chirisa because they thought it best for buff during the time of year I wished to hunt.I wanted to hunt Makuti, but ended up hunting Chirisa instead.
