A Hunter's Who's Who? - Fewer photos this time but generally more difficult ... I think!

#3: Kermit Roosevelt
#7: John Buhmiller.
#9: Ernest Hemingway and ...
#13: James Mellon
#14: John Kingsley-Heath and ...
#19: Robert Stack
#32: Theodore Roosevelt, Jr.

Some other familiar faces but those are my first "guesses," trying to beat someone to identifying at least one of the above.

MarteriusI wonder if #5 is Princess Alice? I am not sure if she hunted but she was on several safaris in Kenya in the good old days.
The man in the middle in #4 could be Bror Blixen, a guess based on his length (and the context) more than anything else...

36) Nickudu himself!
A really interesting topic, more of this, please!

#28 is "TR" (added to above list)
14 March 2006, 03:22
MarteriusMy guess is that # 15 is Pauline Hemingway, Ernest's second wife.
Edited: Number 18 looks a bit like his first wife, Hadley Hemingway, but I am not sure if she ever was in Africa (at least not with him).

Martin

Nickudu, I am the last person who should be doing this, I only spend time on it because I have so booring stuff to deal with IRL right now (proof-reading).
Now I gladly leave this to those who have read the right books.

Thanks for the entertainment!

Martin

Correct mrlexma!
Seems as though the pics are just a tad too difficult this time out (I'll get it right) but still, another impressive showing by the members.
