I recently got a bill for dip and pack, shipping of dip and pack animals, paperwork etc from my booking agent. Nine animals (kudu, oryx, hartebeest, zebra, warthog, dik dik, klipspringer, springbuck, baboon) from Namibia to Norway. Price: just under 1500 US$.
Is that an ok price? Seemed at little much, I thought..

sounds more than a bit high to me, I usually figure on about $100/animal for packing/dipping etc. and about another 100 for freight to US

I had five animals with backskins and "dipping and packing" was about $230 and freight all the way to Nebraska was about $1100

Two of us had 19 animals shipped recently from RSA total dip&pack 980US and total ship to Canada 1127US. Had to go in three boxes as warthogs had to be boxed separate. We figured it was really good pricing.
