Could some of you help me with a project I'm working on?

What I need is the measurments of the average Elephant tusks being taken now.

I need total length of each tusk and diameter around base.
Mid length diameter would be a big plus.
The weight of each tusk that you have info on would be great.

I have one set.

Right tusk: base 17.5", mid point 17", lenghth 62", weight 57 pounds

Left tusk: base 16.5", mid point 16", length 66", weight 58 pounds

The weights were as taken in Bots in '04 and dimensions as they sit in my living room now.

Incidentally the Elephant was REALLY big.
