To anyone who took offence at what i wrote i am sorry. I appologised to Charl in a PM and am happy to do so here too. It was out of line what i wrote and i was angry when i wrote it and that got the better of me. I am begging ANY SA and ZIM PH's who know what is going on in Zim to please come forward and say what you know. I am a Zim Pro Guide so am not involved in the hunting industry, i just get to see all the hunting vehicles and walk onto all the skinned carcasses in Hwange and other parks where i guide. Try explaining that to a photographic guest when we thought we were walking onto a lion kill! Hunting has its place and so does photographic..They have worked side by side for a very long time but now the hunting side of things is starting to threaten the other side. Granted it is " a few bad eggs" though the number of bad eggs is growing daily. I believe that majority of decent hunters know what is going on and who is doing it but are either afraid in some cases or just don't want to rock the boat and so bury their heads in the sand and pretend that it is not going on. | ||

Firstly, Zimguide, your apology accepted with thanks. Secondly: I was a bit upset with your broad brush posting, but when he Afrikaans speaking nature of he scumbags was brought into he equation, I sort of lost it a bit! I do hope that some have learnt the lesson from my angry return postings - which has now been deleted! Lastly, Bwana Mojo, with your attitude of turning the other check, you are a better person than I! In good hunting – and in good shooting animals off he back of a truck - but never in National Parks anywhere! Lack of skills – by practice. Lack of experience – by time doing it. One cannot cure: Stupidity – nothing helps! Anti hunting sentiments – nothing helps! Put-‘n-Take Outfitters – money rules! Thanks Zimguide, and it is of course accepted! My family have been in Africa for nearly 200 years, and have fought in every war you can imagine in Southern Africa. So my Afrikaner blood is blue and burst through my veins, sometimes a bit quickly! We are all on the same side of the fence Sir!
