It's hard to imagine that there is any such thing as a "tiny ten". Maybe tiny twenty five or something. When you add in all the duikers in Liberia, CAR, Camaroon, then start adding in all the species of dik dik, there is certainly more than ten. Anyway, I like to hunt the small stuff myself. I recall some very enjoyable hours shooting hyrax off the rocks in Zim, when I could have been shooting plains game. The small stuff doesn't take up as much space in your trophy room either.

buffybr, Bat Eared Fox are not scarce at all. They are probably at natural carrying capacity in most areas where they have ever occurred. Here in the western Free State a short drive with a spotlight early in the evening will show dozens. But they ARE protected, and can not be hunted. To export the skin from South Africa you need an export permit, for which you must prove that the animal was hunted legally, being protected you will need to have a special permit to hunt one legally, to get a permit you haveto convince the Provincial Nature Conservation authorities that the animal you intend to hunt is from a stable 'carrying capacity' for the area population, but if they say "No permit under any circumstances!", then you can not hunt one with Andrew McLaren Safaris! Thomas Powers, Maybe you want to list more information about the small critters hunt that you offer. I often get enquiries from clients who want to hunt these, and it is quite a bother to phone around and get all of these to be able to offer them. In good hunting. Andrew McLaren
