I'm taking a .375 to Tanzania as a back up in 3 weeks and have been a bit remiss on stocking up on ammo as it's not my main rifle. It's sighted in for Federal Premium with Trophy Bonded Bearclaws and Sledgehammers. Have plenty of the Bearclaws, but everyone seems to be out of stock of the solids (tried Midway, Graf & Sons, Cabelas and Federal direct). Any ideas where I could find a box?

This is a backup rifle and I could do without solids, but I'd prefer to have a few. Thanks for your input.

I saw some for sale on GunBroker yesterday for $60 a box and they were selling 3 boxes so the auction starts at $180 or $189 for the "Buy Now" option.

Check out GS Custom's FN's. There is a guy on here who sells them.

I've found the same problem in the Dallas area. Cabela's and Bass Pro were no help last year. McClelland's had some.

I will be buying 375H&H in Dallas in about a month. Anyone have a good recommendation for both Sledgehammers and TBBCs?

Thanks to everyone for all your help. Found a box at Natchez. Graf & Sons has the softs, but not the solids. Mid-way is out of all Trophy Bonded Federal Premium in .375 H&H. Cabelas is out. Federal told me that they hadn't shipped any this year, so it's little wonder folks are out.

Kensco and anyone else needing .375 Federal Premium, I'd stock up whenever and whereever you can find it.

Personally, I'm through with MidwayUSA. Bass Pro doesn't have much in the way of big bore ammo.

I have had great service from Natchez and Cabela's.

I also spoke with one of Federal's Texas reps. He said he was aware of shortages of certain loadings of Federal Premium. Apparently, Federal has been having some difficulty getting certain bullets. Guess I'll go back to handloading.

If you get in a tight and can't come up with anything then as a last resort I could send you a loaded box of GS Customs flat nose solids loaded with 70 grs. of IMR-4064, new WW brass, Fed. 215 primers, not a hot load but very effective....

Hi Ray.
If Lavaca does not take 'em, please give me a prive as I would like to see if they shoot out of my .375's.
Please send me a price.
I leave for RSA and Zim in Sept.
