I just returned from a medical mission in Kenya. After the mission was over, we stayed in the Masai Mara for a couple of days and visited a Masai village. It was extremely interesting, got to go inside their hut and see how they were built. I asked them about the lions coming out of the park and killing their cattle, the man told me " The government gives us two cows for every cow the lions kill. Now we want MORE lions to kill our cattle." What a difference time makes.

Much like the Navajo's in AZ.
Sam hired and paid them to build a fine 5 wire fence
for well over 100 miles.

What do they do?? Just about dusk they run their livestock out ONTO to hwy, and close the gates!!

Sorriest horse out there was "worth $2000 back in '74. Don't know what the hundreds of sheep were worth that I filled both of the ditches with for over 1/4 mile. I kept right on truckin!!
