I tried a search but ran out of patience. Does anyone have a link to the specific TSA site where I can copy some regs. regarding airtravel w/ firearms & ammo. I just want to have my bases covered in case I run into one of those nice understanding, liberal TSA employees next week.

The middle of the state isn't so bad. We've only had 2 bad ones in 44 years. That's better than tornadoes in Kansas.

Something to remember is that the TSA regs are a sort of minimum requirement that all airlines must comply with. Generally, an individual airline can set its own standards more strictly and there is darned little we can do about it. Of course, most of the airlines simply follow the TSA regs and don't bother to change things. Most "stricter" rules coem from an airline agent or TSA person who doesn't know what they are talking about. Educating them, on the spot, is sometimes impossible.
