I have not read the book yet, but will definitely do so. I thought the article about her life in Africa was fascinating.

Unless you want to bring attention to your cause by getting yourself killed for it don't go around making a fuss in Kenya.

Everyone is aware of the rule and noone is surprised when those breaking it are targeted.

I was in Kenya when this happen but I don't remember the details that lead to her killing. she had made enemys of some of the locals. I don;t remeber if it was about land or wildlife. I know some people who where her friends and they where not supprized in that area at least 1 white land owner is killed every month. not long after her killing a flower farm owner was murdered at his front gate.

BBC ran a feature length documentary with the same title.Apart from other enemies, her crazed neighbour appears to be the prime suspect.

Kenya has become such a bloody pest hole.
