I have a client whose 21 year old son is starting his hunting career. He asked me to put an Africa hunt together for him. So i began looking based on his ilst of animals, mom said no cats or elephants, dag! Family was not comfortable with zim or rsa, so i got in tuoch with mark young, who always comes thru in th e most professional manner. And at SCI we met Johnny Duplooy of Muchinga and we are good to go? Sable in the kafue, then both lechwe and tessebe and then off to luangwa for duoble buff, hippo, and croc as well as other plains game. I feel i might need to take alot of extra ammo for this young fella as he his mom told him, " shoot the shit uot of things"!!! LOL. What a forsttime safari!! Will be tough to top this one!
So we bought him a blaser 375 and 300 win uotfitted with thier mounting and rail system as well as a swarovski scope. Russell boots, ammo belt, sport ears....
now the training begins, i will be putting him thru the ringer. Fun to have a young eager fellow to mentor, particularly one who can afford what is needed.
Has anybody attnded the SAAM safari shooting school in texas, thought that may be a good thingfor him as well?

Good for you guys, enjoy it
I wish I was that lucky when I was 21, unfortunately I had sergeants yelling at me and running me around though my old man said it was the best thing that happened to me...
