I'm proud to say Eric was a friend of mine. Ironically to this post, I was just thinking about him yesterday and what a loss it was for him to pass so young!

Best regards, D. Nelson

Eric was another of the good ones who left of far too early. May he rest in peace.

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Seems like we read about such things every couple weeks here. As many folks scattered around the world as there are on A/R it's to be expected.

Dad always said: "The longer you live, the fewer friends and family you'll have, solely because you outlive them".

Always good to see a person has many friends when they're gone.
