Ray Paolucci takes big tusker with Calitz
93x87 lb. I guess this answers the question about why people pay the big bucks to hunt in Botswana.

Well it's not a double so its clearly not kosher, but, on the other hand, it doesn't look like a 45/70! Just goes to show you don't need a double rifle to kill a monster!

What a bull! I've heard mixed reviews about Johan personally, but he sure does produce.

That is huge! I have a suspicion that the photo was taken the day after because the hunter and his clothes look entirely too fresh to have been hunting elephant in any country! Kudude

Not long but very thick and they appear to be well matched. Neat bull. Congrats to the hunter.

Wow, must have been an old bull with tusks that thick.
Excellent dream bull ele, Congrats.

I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

Nice bull with thick tusks. However, personally, I would rather shoot a long-tusked 60 pounder in Tanzania than a short, fat-tusked 80 pounder in Botswana. That's just my opinion. I think the TZ bulls are more impressive.
