While hunting in Zim a few weeks ago, it seemed we constantly had to be on the lookout for those pesky Elephants. Total right of way and respect or there's trouble. We came upon this group at a water hole and although they cut a hasty retreat, it seems two bulls decided to put on a show for us. The larger bull didn't want the younger bull following the cows. Quite a shoving match ensued with the larger bull winning the match.

BwannaWe saw this guy on the Zambezi a couple of times while croc hunting. We pulled up to him in the boat to about 40 yards. I thought we'd get video of a mock charge but it didn't happen.

AtkinsonHave you ever noticed when they push a tree over its always in the road, not away from the road..Its an elephant thang, and they do have a since of humor I am convenced..

You are correct. ALWAYS IN THE ROAD.
On my last trip to Zimbabwe I took 3 axes, and two big wood bow saws with a bunch of replacement blades.
That stuff also worked great for making leopard blinds as well.
