I realize this has been beat to death, but, he has trailer for "Death at my Feet" on his website http://www.nitroexpresssafaris.com
it's excellent for a laugh, but the charges he incites from the wounded animals is disgraceful. Hunting should not be about good "tape".
There are some incredible charges and followup shots in the trailer, but I think tapes such as these give a lot of people the false impression that you are going to be charged 3 or 4 times in the course of a hunt.
I was wondering if anybody who has hunted with mark would comment on the experience, Is he a pompous ass or does he just come off that way for the camera?

I don't care what anyone says. If you are in the situation that has got to get your heart pumping.

From my point of view, the only interesting question is: Is it true that he wounds animals on purpose? If so I have a set of names for him that I do not dare to post public, and he ought to be condemned by everyone who want to be called a hunter. If it is not true (and I hope it is not true), I rest my case. As long as this is an open question (to me) the whole matter gives me an uneasy feeling no matter how "good" his films are.

Regards,
Martin

I am certainly not condemning him, But nobody no matter how much you hunt, nobody gets charged that many times. The sheer number of charges leads me to believe they are from wounded and or heavily pursued animals.
He obviously is a pretty cool character or he would not still be making "films" no matter how staged the situation is you still have an angry dangerous animal on your hands. I did hear him say (at the NRA show) his son left the business due to the pressure. I also believe he is a verifieable adrenaline junky.

The MS subject is getting to be quite boring. sleep

But I guess we should let this subject "decide itself, how it wants to die"? Wink

^^What kind of controversy did the Spice Girls stir up? The only thing I remember about them was that they redefined the word "Crap." Big Grin

I can't help noticing the same individuals chiming in with the "not again" posts every time MS's name appears. Just can't resist, eh???

Even if I haven't seen a single one of his films Red Face

I must say that his last one Death by the Ton was different to the others, here it was more shot on animals running away because they did not attack the hunter, maybe MS reputation has been well told all over Africa so the animals are scared of him now??
