We spent a couple of weeks in Northern Sweden, and I got invited by friends to attend the Lap's annual reindeer marking.

Very interesting, and you will notice the video of the herding of the reindeer was actually taken at 2 in the morning!

Saeed, Very interesting! Thank you.
Looks like places in Canada. "Land of the midnight sun".

Do you mind me asking what ground station software/hardware you are using. I am planning to get a Phantom 4.
Thanks again for the nice post. Brian

Yes, it was rather strange for someone who comes from a tropical area, where its dark half an hour after sunset.

We had a long drive and arrived there late in the afternoon. Had dinner at about 9 and everyone suggested we have a nap - as we were being woken up at 1 in the morning!!

Trouble was we had three bunks, and we were 7 people and one very large dog.

Being a guest, they were very kind and gave me one of the bunks, no sooner I got on it than the dog jumped next to me!!

End results was hardly any of us had any sleep, and when we got out it was bright as day!!

Good one about the big dog and you, in the one bunk!

My wife and I have lived in settlements along the MacKenzie River, where the sun never goes completely down in the summer.
In the heart of the winter the sun is only up for an hour. You can really get out of sorts after a couple of months of that at 40F. below. Brian
