I was just reading a Sports Afield magazine and saw this ad in the august edition. I wondered if any of our older members may have answered the call and had a great adventure. The price was right at $6K. Sure looks like fun! Oh wait, disregard, I just realized this was a 1953 edition. My bad! "The difference between adventure and disaster is preparation." I'd love to know how that turned out. Very neat. ----------------------------------------- "I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. -Henry David Thoreau, Walden | |||
