Has anyone tried these? They have the quick releases to extend the legs - like some camera tripods.

This is the first time I have seen these. I currently have a set of the Stoney Point shooting sticks, but these look even better and steadier to shoot from. They are also quite a bit cheaper than the Stoney Point sticks ($100). Where as these are only $60. I think I may order a set.

Thanks to a US friend, I received a set of Long Grass shooting sticks, which are more of the traditional "mould".

The "camera" style extensions might seem useful and for pre-setting to a desired height look like a good idea with these MossBack tripods, but would be too slow and noisy setting up if one waited till one actually had the game animal in sight (in many cases).

Look like they would do the job well though.
