I shot my first turkey today. I scared hell out of everyone in the frozen food section. It was awesome!

It has always been my understanding that Turkeys were a totally North American bird. Were these Zimbabwe birds introduced birds? Just curious as I cannot find Turkey in any of my African bird books.
