FrostbitMoon phase and cat hunting
Anybody keep track of stats or have an opinion about success for Leopard and/or Lion in relation to moon phases?

MARK H. YOUNGJim,
I try to book on the dark of the moon but many think the moon phase is irrelevent.

shakariOne should never say never and never say always about things African but I think it usually doesn't make much, if any difference. After all, the cats still get hungry and still have to eat , no matter what the moon is doing.
From my experience, the trick is to be sure to put a good thick roof on the blind that cuts out all light because ANY light, even star light shining into the blind at least helps the cat to see straight through the blind walls. Put a roof on it and he can't see through at all.
I reckon close to half the cats I've ever taken have been close to the full moon and I also reckon the full moon makes them more accommodating because they tend to feed earlier, before the moon comes up properly.

Nakihunter http://forums.accuratereloadin...1411043/m/7041083951This thread on man eating instances and moon phase is very interesting. Should it not be similarly relevant to other pray / hunting time?
