Broke under 40 days to go and time to start preparing. Got out old safari clothes from 05 and I have gained a few too many pounds. Just got off the phone with Cabelas getting new pants and shirts, the old just fit but like comfortable clothes for hunting. Weather breaking here in the east so out to the range to fine tune the .338WM. Will be busy till the 15th of april but will find time for safari preperations. Smiler

I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

Those clothes shrink if they stay in the closet too long. Something about fiber elasticity and a longer than normal winter...very complicated.

Don't forget the digital camera.

Us too; we leave the 18th of April for Namibia. Starting to push back from the table a little more often, and the weather is getting better for serious walking to stay in shape. It has been a riot watching the wife get ready for the trip. I never knew you could "color-coordinate" different shades of green or khaki!

No, our friends from Erindi and Capetown fly over here to the States regularly and thought our connections with United from here in Idaho would be better to Germany. I wasn't impressed with the last trip thru ATL to Joberg, or my kids experiences in 2005 on the same legs. We are flying IF to Denver, then on to Frankfort. Air Namibia to Windhoek, and my travel agent was able to upgrade that leg to Business for the same fare..
