Check out Wildcat Safaris in Zambia. Mike Heath does lion and leopard hunts in some truly wild areas in Zambia.

I did not hunt cats with him, but understand he has a very high success ratio on cats.

Lion hunting is not cheap and the demand is great. If you want to shoot a lion go to RSA. If you are into hunting then be prepared to pay money some outfitters want upwards of 70K for the lion hunt.

As above, my partner took a huge Lion in late September, a few weeks ago while hunting in Chewore South with Chifuti Safaris. Len Taylor was our PH and a great hunter (and I've hunted with 16 PHs over the years).

I took my very large Lion in the Luangwa Valley of Zambia in 2004, however the operator is no longer in business. The valley is an incredible place - might be heaven. I'd speak with Fairgame here on AR if interested in Zambia Lion.

Be very careful about Tanzania Lion just now. New rules are reducing the Lion take according to my sources.

Also worthwhile to contact Aaron Neilson here on AR, as he has taken more Lion than anyone I know.

Try Gavin Rorke Safaris in Dande North (Zim). I took a lion in May. Also buffalo and elephant. There were lots of leopard in the area too.
