Another loss of a fine gentleman. Bill always took time to say hello, and always wanted to hear about your latest hunt, be it a bull elephant or a bull mallard. The type of man you never heard a bad word about. We lost a good man with his passing.

I booked my first hunt with Bill. I am very saddened to hear of his death.

Bill wrote the book on how to be a booking agent, IMO. When I went on my first African hunt, I had never left the US (except Canada). Bill wrote me a long personal letter describing EXACTLY what to do when I got to Africa. He took the same care with my first hunt as he would have with a 24 day full bag.

He was pure class.

Same as what AnotherAZWriter said.

My first and all my Africa hunts were booked with Bill. I was even lucky enough to spend time in Zim with Bill.

He was a true sportsman, gentleman and good friend to all who knew him.

He will be missed.

RIP Bill. You were a true gentleman and I always enjoyed your company whenever our paths crossed.

I, too, booked my first hunting safari through Col. Bill Williamson and found him to be one of the most unassuming, friendly and helpful agents I have ever dealt with.

The world will not be a better place with Bill's chair empty at the campfire. What a fine man he was to know and the same can be said about what a nice lady Dolly is.
I bet he keeps watch over us all anyway.
RIP Bill.

You can borrow money but you can not borrow time. Go hunting with your family.

Heaven has just become a better place with the arrival of Bill. A great hunter. A great gunman. A great marksman. A great safari ambassador. A great gentleman.
