TrophyShotPrintsTrophyShot Prints [New Customers...]
Hello,
To those that have contacted me in the past several weeks about your upcoming safaris and plans for my Custom Enhanced TrophyShot Print Showpieces...
REMINDER ...when taking your high resolution trophy photos do not take/frame them too tight,
leave a little wiggle room ...it allows me some leeway when choosing the desired PRINT ASPECT ratio.

And shoot
several photos of each ...so we have a variety to choose from...
and CHECK the photos!!!...ask to see the camera...
re-take a few more if necessary...
it's YOUR safari...
and LET YOUR GENUINE EMOTIONS be captured on camera after the hunt
... like after an elephant hunt...the incredible emotion of soberness and respect that culminates after taking the life of this majestic beast..., etc., etc. capture these most memorable emotions/mood on camera!!!
Safe travels and have a great safari

Cheers!
Roland
Good tips Roland. I have been meaning to thank you for the great work you did on my Croc pic and my Dad's Elk pic. They turned out great!

You are a master and I look forward to having you fix some of my photo "faux pas". Having said that I disagree that a trophy photo needs to include a smile. The emotion I feel after killing an animal rarely elicits a smile. We are all different, but I believe the trophy photo should reflect genuine emotion.
I have been told that I look like I am attending a funeral in my trophy photos. I think that is fitting as that is pretty close to the truth.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.
Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

TrophyShotPrintsI stand to be corrected Jason
Proper would be to allow your GENUINE EMOTIONS to be captured on the image. I like that better myself

...do you concur brother?

JGRaiderJust ordered a couple of metal prints from Roland. If the finished products are anything like the prints, well, they are simply fantastic! Roland takes his work seriously, and it shows. Here's a public "Thanks" to Roland.
