Not a bad idea at all. I thought of this (recording night sounds) and intended to use my Camcorder to do it, but this may be handier. Plus I could use it to keep audio notes of the days events rather than writing everything down. The new ones are really small too.

Cool.

I think you just cost me another $50.

Cheers,
Canuck

Good luck Mike. Please give us all the details as some of us will be stranded in the New World for the rest of '06.

Although cartridge selection is important there is nothing that will substitute for proper first shot placement. Good hunting, "D"

Good luck good buddy. After having talked to you in Dallas in person and on AR for a considerable amount of time, I am well aware of your abilities in the field and with the rifle. I am now aware of your great courage as exhibited by your taking your wife along. That my friend takes REAL GUTS, congrats to you and your equally courageous pardner. Drink a sundowner to all here at AR. wave thumb cheers Good luck and good shooting.

Mike:

Make sure that you get up early at the Sea Cliff and eat breakfast outside as the sun comes up over the Indian Ocean. The food is excellent and the view of the dhows, etc. is just wonderful.

If last year's bushbaby is still living above the sleeping tents, you'll get plenty of recordings... and the hippos will be as loud as freight trains when they come out of the river to "visit" you and your wife! cheers

Remember the note and toast!

Mike & Cherie,

I am very excited for you. I'm sure the planning and anticipation has been like being on a roller coaster. Have a great hunt, you deserve it, and give my best to Pierre.

Thanks to both you and Saeed for this hunt and your willingness to share your experience. This is so meaningful to me as I prepare to make my first DG trip to Tanzania in Sept 2007. I will undoubtably hang on each of your reports as anticipation is so much a part of the whole experience-keep up the good work.
