Ivan,

If you are interested I have a high resolution copy of one of my paintings of a Lion. Note I have a BA HONS in Art. Could we not sell this image to AR folks who could have it emailed to them and they then could have it printed off as a limited edition? All proceeds would go your way and very easy to arrange? Can send copy of image to you?

Andrew,
Can you post a copy of your lion? If your art is half as good as your writing, I'd love to see it.

FYI - The raffle drawing will be held next Wednesday, April 7 because we still had some last minute checks coming in yesterday and today. If they held the drawing March 31 that would mean everyone would have been rushing to make sure everything was sorted and in order with tickets (due to the time difference). And…due to Easter weekend and Zim closing for a few days – the drawing will be next Wednesday.

Just wanted to let all those who entered know so you wouldn't think you didn't win!

Thanks and have a great Easter Weekend!!

And the winner of the raffle is: Keegan Langley and family!!! Mr. Steven Emory of South Africa also seems to have done pretty decently as well Wink Still holding thumbs for Keegan and family...and prayers continuing.

Per Jennifer Ryan (via e-mail):

Hello all participants,

First of all, thank you ALL soooo very much for your participation in the buffalo raffle that took place to support such a wonderful cause!!! With the assistance and efforts from all of you – we raised about $35,000 to go toward Keegan Langley’s medical bills. WOW – what a difference a little support can make, huh?! I think I can speak on behalf of the Langley family and the Trust in saying THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!

I am happy to tell you that they drew for a winner this morning in Zimbabwe at Falcon College and the lucky winner is: Steven Emery from South Africa. Congratulations Mr. Emory!!!

Thanks once again for your support,

Jennifer

Gentlemen, ladies and friends,

Once again hunters around the world have dug deep in hard times and supported my son Keegan and in so doing, his family too. Thank you all.

Also, big thanks to Jenn Ryan and Ivan Carter for their work - Jenn, you are a star!

Everyone knows the situation in Zimbabwe - the people there supported Keegan to the absolute limit right at the beginning of this thing, its a small community and they have done all they can. We are overwhelmed by the international support, particularly from the USA, and specifically you hunters.

The idea is to hold a hunt raffle of a similar nature annually, next year for sure. The Trust would value your input: any thoughts or ideas on how to structure the raffle to not only Keegan's best benefit, but to hunters as well, would be welcome.

Whilst the outfitters who have donated the two hunts so far have been great, the Trust does not expect donated hunts to keep coming in - it is most likely the Trust will have to buy hunts for raffle in the future. This changes the dynamics somewhat of course.

Thanks again, folks, you have been terrific!

Ade,

Pamwe Chete, indeed! The hunting community is capable of great things when we all get ourselves proper-end-to Wink.

Your family remains in our prayers...

Mark
