I have been to Africa once, SA on a farm hunt. Not a great time.....  But, that was 3 years ago. The hunger for going back to something better is getting stronger. Reading here, I know I was a bit unlucky, bad palaning and so, so next time I will do more reseach. So, where to go for a good safari with buffalo on the list? I like good old style hunting, walking and tracking. Looking at next year. Hope some can give me a tip on where and with who. Have a good sunday to you all. Best from Norway Happy hunting. | ||

Look to take a 10 day safari to Tanzania or Mozambique for a good safari. Why do i say 10 day safari is in Tanzania you will have 2 C. Buffalo on your license...1st choice. I hunted with Zambezi Hunters last yr. on my 1st buff hunt. Thierry Labat was my P.H. & we had a great time. Their hunting area in the Save is screwed up right now by the land grabbers, but I was looking for the right outfitter & not the location. They will survive this & have other locations now that might be even better. I have a 2nd safari booked with them for July 2013 & am very much looking forward to it. You can't go wrong with Z.H.! Best buffalo deal on the continent right now is SSG's area in Malapati, Zimbabwe. There are buff hunts available right now for under 9k, all in, and some of the buffalo are true monsters. Make a deal and buy two of three of those and you'd be good to go. Will J. Parks, III | |||

I made my first trip to Africa in June, 2011, and hunted buffalo with Peter Barnard of Bvekenya Safaris (www.africahunting.biz). It was a great hunt and I could not have been happier. I got a good buffalo, 3 impala, a huge hyena, and a baboon. The hunt was in the Nyakasanga safari area of the Zambezi Valley in Zimbabwe. I saw lots of other game and took lots of pictures. That was the best hunt/vacation I ever had. | |||
