This should be the new number one superceding T.D Kelsy's big lesser kudu which was taken in,the same concession in Dec. of 2002. T.D.'s appears in the Ethiopian Chapter in the new "African Hunter II". The animla was taken by Greg Bond from Dallas. The longest horn measures 36 and 2/8th's" Rich Elliott

Now THAT is a nice lesser! My uncle has a set of horns bought off the road side years ago that tape a tad more than 35. Looks like some good mass too, what did the bases tape?

Boghossian, I believe they were 7 2/8ths" and 7 3/8th's" The shortest horn was just under 36". I can't remember the gross score but , of cousre, it was green anyway and will change. It's going to be either #1 or #2 for sure. I never made it much past that 36"+ horn. Measured it 3 times and it never changed! Rich Elliott

That kudu is the trophy of ten lifetimes. I fell in love with the lesser kudu while in Tanzania. I said I'll never kill another one, but if I saw a bull like that one, I just might change my mind.
