Just hung up the phone (Skype - video link) from speaking with Russell Caldecott, owner/operator of the ULTIMATE LODGE in Vic Falls. He asked me to say hello to all his friends and aquantances here in the states. Rus does not have access to AR quite yet there in Zim, but will soon. The improvements to the Lodge have been monumental. New Kitchen / New Reception / New Water Feature...etc. etc.

Russell has also just produced a new hunter 'newsletter' that they are going to try to keep updated. Now this thing is brand new, and while I was just speaking to him via Skype, he was trying it out on me.

Apparently the rains have hit his part of the world and the remainder of November looks pretty quite, but come December things pick up again. I am sure he would appreciate hearing from any of you who know him.

My wife and I and our two boys stayed at the Ultimate Lodge in August of this year for one night after our hunt with Zambezi Hunters in the Save Valley Cons. I really enjoyed the BBQ and dancers that performed. Nice place.
