GunsCoreThe big problem I have with the SCI Convention is......
...the realization that I have to live at least another 50 years to do all the cool hunts I want to do. I better head to the gym.

This is the attitude you should always have.
It has nothing to do with SCI

Michael RobinsonRight on, Mike.
My wife and I spent half of November of last year at 10-12,000 feet in the Tien Shan mountains. Hard core hunting all the way.
We felt pretty old, from time to time, it's true. But mostly, we felt alive.
We won't have another 50 years, but the challenge will be to make the most of whatever remains.

brent ebelingI am doing tur in Azerbjian next year so to the gym it is. After having killed about a dozen or so sheep and ibex in my thirties, I discovered Africa and spent most of my forties there. Now at 52 I realise I need to get back on the mtn, translated back in shape.
I whole heartedly agree with orginal post, the shows can make you feel the limitations of time and money
