Not long ago, someone posted about some safari photo books they put together using a company online. The books looked great but I can not remember who that was or where that post is. Can someone shed some light on this? I am sure there are several places that do this but I am looking for the contact/web site for that company.

Thanks!

I'm intending to use SnapFish, but I think it is an Aussie company. My class have used it for various projects, and it works very well.

do a Google search for free photo books...
The cost of the book is a given and added...the page lay out for the book is free...

go through your photos prior to the book and pick out the ones you want and put in a folder on your desk top for easy find and transfer...i have the photos all labeled and put in folders for pages 1 through 40 for the easy put together.

also check out Microsoft for free programs to put a DVD disk of your pictures together (Microsoft downloads it is free)

snap-fish, Walgreen and others charge by the page...the book cover and page layouts are different for each...i like the one where you get to pick each page layout individually.

books with a cover photo are under a $100...

also do a discount photo book coupon Google search and see if it will reduce the cost or if you want free shipping some times you get both...

Arts has a book, and i think Kinko's has a book also...

I used My Publisher and the book came out very nice! There are a lot of options in the style of book you want.

They also, run a lot of specials.

I have used My Publisher for three hunting books so far and they are excellant! One tip, do not pay their standard "list prices". They offer continuing "specials" that give 30%-50% off once you are on their email list.

When you have finished putting your book together, be patient before pulling the trigger on ordering until one of these comes along. You won't have long to wait!

iPhoto on Macs lets you make books. You can do the work on your computer, upload to Apple and a week later, your book arrives. Hardback, soft cover, or even wire bound.

Pretty amazing

Grafton,

I've used My Publisher a couple of times. It's easy, very flexible, and outputs a great product. Be very careful with proof reading and text box size limits. It's WYSIWYG with no outside editing or correction.

Another vote for My Publisher. I've done 2 photo books with them and both are great.

As other have said above, when using My Publisher sign up for their email alerts as they have specials at least once per week.
