You'd better bring your winter woolies. We're having the coldest winter (in my area at least) that we've had for at least ten years. In short, it's BLOODY FREEZING!!!!!!!!

Even my damn banana trees look like they've kicked the bucket! Confused

I strongly recommend thick jackets, gloves and a good hat.............Otherwise you guys are die of hypothermia on the back of those hunting trucks!!

If it's that bad here, just think what the Botswana nights are gonna be like. rotflmo

I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same.

May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

The best I can do for you is this:
http://www.shakariconnection.com/weather1.html but Balla Balla might be able to help you further......... should be getting warmer by then though (I think!)

Lorenzo,

As far as I'm concerned the right place for ice is in a glass...... I know what you mean though.

Peter,

Damn, it's gonna be cold there........but I guess you'll be used to it huh. Wink

As a general comment, at 0600 today it was .5C and the grass was covered with a heavy frost! Eish......

How anyone can drink that OBS, I'll never know!

I bought a bottle of it to try when I came out here to live 10 years ago and it's still in damn cupboard! rotflmo

Deerdogs

Wish I could join you for the game...... we might even win now that animal Burger is out of the running. I'm suprised he hasn't crippled some poor bugger the way the ignores the rules. I'd guess it's only a matter of time before he does.

Have a good hunt and don't forget to pack your cold weather gear!

The trick is to pour 10 shots, then you throw out the 1st one and the last one.

The reason, the first one tastes like SH@T and the last one gives you a hangover dancing
