For those that may not have seen the post on the classified section:

I have a problem leopard that has to be shot witin THIS (November 2008) month. I can offer the hunt as follows:
With dogs, over 10 days, plus 2 traveling days, with a professional video made of the hunt:
US$ 12 000 all inclusive (dayfees, video, dog handler, trophy fee of leopard). (If you do not wnat the video, US$ 10 000, however, i wiould still like to film the hunt at my expense for marketing).
If no leopard are shot/ shot at/ killed by hunter/ wounded by hunter/ turned down by hunter by the end of the hunt- NO CHARGE to hunter other than trophy fees of other game that he/ she may have shot. All indications are that the cat is an good sized male, as it is catching rather big heifers, and the track is close to 4 inchess long. The hunt will be in Namibia, close to the Botswana border.
Other available game includes:
kudu
oryx
springbok
eland
red hartebeest
steenbok
duiker
Other normal Namibian game can also be hunted on the way back to Windhoek if the hunt for the leopard can be concluded earlier (and within the hunting season.)
Please note that Namibia's trophy hunting season closes on the 30th of November, and only re-opens on the 1st of February.
Conditions of hunt:
A US$ 2000 deposit will secure the hunt (refunded if no other animal or leopard are shot, see above).
All video footage/ photos/ film taken during the hunt, can be used by Ndumo Safaris as promotional material.
All normal terms and conditions as published on our website will apply (http://www.huntingsafaris.net/terms.htm)

Do you often have deals like this ? - that is you dont pay if you dont shoot ? I have seen it on brownbears and other game but not in Africa.
I like it when you pay nothing if you dont shoot and pay a couple of thousands more if you find the animal you are after.
I will have my eyes open next year, if you do a post like this one next year it will be sold !

Anton, no, we normally do not have the "No shoot, no pay" policy on leopard hunts, though if you book a "normal" leopard hunt, and do not shoot one, you obviously pay much less than if you have shot it.
(I copied and pasted below from this thread ( https://forums.accuratereloading.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/...=763107949#763107949 ):
Otherwise, I am willing to drop the prices on these hunts (WITH hounds)to US$ 11 250 (normal price US$ 15 000) for anyone booking and paying now (while the N$ is over 10 to the US$) for any future (2009) hunt. Furthermore, if you do a dog hunt, and do not get your leopard in the 12 hunting days ( 2 travelling days), you will get the US$ 3000 trophy fee back (normal price US$ 4K), as well as 40% of your dayfees (US$ 3300). These trophy fees and other rates are of course the discounted (by 25%) rates, that will only be valid while the US$ is worth more than NS$10.)
