Wanted all to know that we have posted a new article at the huntingtrophy.com site that explains the proper procedure for the importation of made-up articles from the CITES animals you legally sport-hunted. Also want to let you know that I am retiring on August 15, 2008. I will still be doing consultant work for anyone interested until 2011. I have enjoyed your Forum and hope to now have the time to become a more active participant. Carol Carolyn Rutkowski Consultant, Hunting Trophy Division Coppersmith Inc. TheRutkowskis@aol.com

Carol, Good luck in your retirement. One question, if you are just having hide (elephant) tanned overseas, but not made into anything, and then having the tanned hide imported, are there any issues with that? Thanks. Mike

There should be no problem if the hide has jsut been tanned it would still be considerd a Hunting Trophy and export permitted accrdingly. Carolyn Rutkowski Consultant, Hunting Trophy Division Coppersmith Inc. TheRutkowskis@aol.com

Carol, Congratulations on your retirement!!! Thank you for all your help over the years. Will you and Walt still be coming to Reno for the Convention this year? Best wishes for a long and happy retirement. Kathi kathi@wildtravel.net 708-425-3552 "The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page."

I am not sure we will be coming to Reno. We are working on a possible seminar with other service providers at the SCI and if that works out we will let you know. How is your husband enjoying his retirement? Thanks for the kind words. Carolyn Rutkowski Consultant, Hunting Trophy Division Coppersmith Inc. TheRutkowskis@aol.com
