Weird doesn't cover it!

I've heard of folks eating cougars in the U.S. Eating any feline is very weird -- but we've all probably done it unwittingly if you eat Chinese.

I have heard of an American hunter who shot a leopard in Africa, and insisted on eating ALL of it himself!

Nothing wrong with that.

He paid for it, and it is all his.

The part I don't like is the poaching bit.

I've eaten cougar, it was really good. I wanted to eat some of my leopard, but the carcass was stolen the first night. No, the cougar did not taste like chicken. Dave

Supposedly the cats taste something like Pork. Similar to the above, I wanted to eat the cheetah I shot in Namibia but it was devoured on night 1 by, I presume, the staff. That might say something about whether or not it can be made to taste good.

On a side note Saeed, what is Islam's position on the eating of predators?
