This big boy will definitely get a shoulder mount. But how much for the room to go around him ???

There are quite a few photos so the links are to a threaded view. You can also select them from the "thread" tree at the bottom.

These would be 95 point bulls plus. One or two would be 100 or 100+.

The family hunters shot them over 2 1/2 days and then left, I think to stop shooting more bulls and having to pay more trophy fees! As the mounts were European skull mounts and not shoulder mounts, it would have been very quick to retrieve the trophy, so they kept hunting. For a shoulder mount with the warm weather the cape must be dealt with quickly in order to avoid hair-slip.

On our hunt we took the first bull on day 2 and the second (Steve's) on day 4. Steve offered me first opportunity to hunt even though I argued we should swap each day.

I don't know the average age of a bull in the upper nineties. Maybe an expert like Marrakai ( ) can chime in.

I am asking out of curiosity to see how long it takes for them to reach shooter/trophy size. Those skulls would look fantasic grouped together ona wall.
