We seldom get to choose
But I've seen them go both ways
And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory
Than to slowly rot away!

eyedocJust got my book printed and wanted to offer it to all you guys here on AR. Taken straight from my hunting journal. Some of my work has been on here and it was because of the encouragement of many of you that I finally put the book together. It includes seven bowhunts, three rifle hunts and a short fiction. Over 100 color photos.Bear hunt in Alberta, mountain lion in Utah, Elephant in Namibia and plenty of over the shoulder action. Some pretty, some ugly, but all just as it happened.
I hope you guys will enjoy.
The book can be purchashed through the PayPal link provided below.

eyedocThanks Tom-I will get it out Priority Post on Monday morning.Look forward to your feedback.
Just got a look at your website and those are some great prices on that Botswana hunt. Daily rates are good and the trophy fees look like they are from 10-15 years back. Where in Botswana is the property located?

Paul TruccoloMike, congrats on the journal.
If there's so much as a single shread of your natural humour in it it should be a killer of a read.
I'm leaving for camp very soon and have much on my plate at the moment but please put a copy aside for me and I'll be in touch when I return to arrange a transfer for my copy.
Best regards,

Thanks Doc, I really do hope you make it back some day.
You KNOW I can cure that problem of those Hummingbirds nesting in the barrels of that .470 !!
Don't forget to save me a copy of your journal.
I'm looking forward to the read.
I'll be back home sometime in Oct and be in touch then.
Good health and good hunting to you.
Paul.

Thanks Doc, the prices for that outfit are really amazing right now in Botswana. The place hasn't been hunted in 8 years as it was converted to Eco tourism. Now it's back to hunting and they want to get some people through the door.
I'm really looking forward to receiving the book. I hope it's home when i get there!

I just got my copy!!!! A great way to get out of the summer heat and daydream about being back in the bush. Refreshing to read real life accounts of "regular guy" hunts without all the manufacturing endorsements and fluff. Thanks eyedoc for putting me in the field and allowing me to participate on your hunts even if it was only via a book!
It is going on display in my library at the house. All of my staff members in my office wouldn't even put it down when it arrived this week. And none of them hunt.
I look forward to Volume 2,, so go hunting and keep writing...
